Art Is A Constant.

My name is Shawn Marie, and I'm a Fine Artist & Muralist based in SE Michigan. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (EMU) and a professional background in Graphic Design. I've worked in and studied Art since I was a small child. My work has evolved over the years from painting landscapes, pop art figures, to acrylic abstract paintings. I am currently focused on creating Textured abstract works outside of the traditional use of paint pigments, where I am experimenting with resin, Fireglass, stones, crystals, plaster, sand - typically anything that would add texture to a canvas. In addition to creating Textured art works, I have also worked on several Mural commissions for exterior buildings and interior rooms and walls. I have participated in many art exhibitions where my work was displayed and juried, but present-day, I find joy and pride in displaying my large work inventory in craft and vendor shows. My art focus and style has been ever-changing over the years, but Art itself, is always a constant in my life.
